I love pizza. I had it two hours ago and yet I’m hungry again already. My stomach is actually growling.

Meat and carbs used to keep me full. Here lately only carbs. Now it seems not even carbs are keeping me full for long lately. Maybe I stretched my stomach out on vacation? I wouldn’t think 5 days restaurant food in slightly bigger portions than usual would do much. Perhaps because I got used to eating breakfast those days and usually an afternoon snack (replaced my bedtime snack)? Or maybe my body is telling me to eat more food more often because I’m healing?

That would be odd I’d think considering it only takes like an extra 150 kcal a day to grow a baby lol. That much extra should be enough to heal a 4-5” incision.

That could be peeper Jen friend. You are not typically a breakfast eater. Maybe up the protein, water and fiber until you lose the hungries💜💚

Maybe try more fiber- helps me to eat apples, celery, carrots etc. it fills you up but I still have to eat every few hours, it’s just how I’ve always been

Thanks guys! Veggies don’t hold me for long. At least they didn’t when I was eating them for a few snacks a day. I’ll have to track my water intake again. I’ve been lax on it and haven’t tracked since we got back from vacation. I’ll start there. Today was pizza lunch and dinner so no veggies or high amounts of protein. On vacation I found half a steak, broccoli, potatoes and rolls kept me full. However I can’t eat like that daily lol. Bread usually fills me up so one would think pizza crust would do the same 🤔.

I think we "train" our tummy to expect food at certain times & if it doesn't happen we feel hungry. When I was on vacation in June I ate more & at times I don't usually eat at home. For the first few days afterwards my tummy seemed to say "Where's lunch" 😊 I did actually feel "hungry". After getting back to my normal schedule I stopped wanting those extra snacks/ meals.

I have had hungry days for 5 of the past 7 days and my weight has stayed the same until this morning, when it dropped a little. Go figure. Drinking lots of fluids and eating when I’m hungry but staying on plan. Just go with it. Growling tummy means an empty tummy. Maybe fill up on salad / raw veggies and fruit?

I just started dieting and exercising recently (around 3-4, weeks ago). I used to feel hungry all the time and had bad cravings for unhealthy food. I forced myself to drink more water. I started by drinking minimum 1.7L a day, and then increasing the amount over time. I drink around 2.7-3L daily now, and I barely have any craving. I also like to drink infused water (my favorite is bitter gourd+lemon infused water) to make it less boring.
