Woke at 234.7, up 3.9 from yesterday after a huge BBQ meal last night with some forbidden sides! I did a hard HIIT workout and got to 232.3 by 1:30 pm. Have someone coming over today so we will do some time by the pool. Light beer probably will be in the mix. Grilling steaks tonight. Took the daily calorie target to 1550 for August (75 carbs, 70 fat, 155 protein daily). If I exceed that, my plan is to exceed it with protein to try to gain build some muscle. Not going to do alternate day fasting except as required to get back on track if my calories go over. UPDATE: I weighed in at 233.4 before dinner. Clearly, some takeout-induced water weight to lose! Happy weekend, pals! UPDATE: A full bottle of red wine added 625 calories that I will have to work off tomorrow or over a few days.
