BuffyBear's Journal, 05 Sep 13

Borrowing from Erika's suggestion I now have my slogan: Weigh Less by Oktoberfest. I believe Oktoberfest officially ends October 6th - but close enough.

BTW - to a few of you who have expressed concerns - no, I am not doing anything extreme, and no, I really don't expect to lose 15 pounds in a month. But lets see how low I can go.

I understand what you're doing. HOWEVER... should you find the magic formula, please share. Good Luck.

2 pounds per week is not totally unreasonable, so if you've got 5 weeks, 10 pounds would still be in a healthy range of weight loss! I know what you mean about wanting to set your goals high even if you know you might not reach them... Good luck with your challenge - love the slogan! :)

Heather - This is not a challenge but a personal campaign copied after Sandy701's. But, of course, you are invited. Not only are you invited but I'm begging you to join me!

Late to the party, I like your title, the only thing I could think of was KISS it goodbye. Maybe you should just start a challenge.

Glad you're going to be reasonable about the weight loss pace, but still hanging that goal out there. If you hit 15, please write that book....you'll become a gazillionaire and we can all say we knew you when. :)

I lost my first 15 in a 6 week period. Totally possible.

GG - you are not late. Besides, the party cannot start until you get here. I can use your suggestion next time. You know there will always be a "next time".

Sandy - When it comes to nutrition I am usually reasonable, except that I err on the side of eating too much - so don't be looking for that book anytime soon.

Chadlius88 - Thanks - that is the most encouraging news I've heard all day!
