Well I haven;'t written anything for awhile. Been taking a break for dieting in a way. I tried to keep calories around 2000-2300. Been really busy though. I have refinished a antique secretary desk. I would say it 50 - 60 years old. I also, finished re-roofing all of the sheds. Now I am going back to the yard work, took out some bushes and root bulbs today thank goodness for my old-pickup truck (17 yrs 198K miles) and old truck for an old man my son says. but we both still get the job done. Anyway, I set Monday as the target date to go back to 1600-1800 calories, hopefully my break from dieting would allowed my body to get reset so when I start back up on Monday, especially with all the upcoming yard work I can lose the other 20 plus pounds to get back to a size 42 waste. At least at that weight I can avoid the big man shops for a bit.

you need to change your lifestyle not diet cause we all hate the word diet , means don t eat what we like . you need to focus on your health what you are eating( don t go to mcdonals or taco bell any fastfood, you want a burger, buy a healthy burger or make it ). counting your calories are very important to see how much calories you take to burn them by simply cleaning ,walking , yoga .... good luck

I have found that I am not good at "guestimating" my caloric intake, always guess to low. I have to weigh and track it for me to get anywhere. Good Luck on your journey!
