Thank you Ireland and Eva! They look like their name for sure... Or maybe a sunset! Sadly, they have no scent. But, they make up for that lack by blooming for me beautifully all summer long!

Sandy, a peace rose sounds like a perfectly lovely name!!!! I got these, as I have 11 of my bushes, from an old guy at a farmer's market. Year after year I added a couple at a time. He has wonderful, old stock! This is one of my favorites for sure!!!

Thank you, silkian, newnamewhodis, and Groatmeal! Thank you so much! I really don't think I'm a very good gardener, and I can't keep anything alive inside! But, I do love my roses, and I don't seem to mind all the work. It is sure part of my "gym" time, and the color reward makes it worth the effort. ❤️

Beautiful! Sandy, my mom used to have the Peace Rose, I always loved it. Melissa, there's a place near here called The Rose Emporium, and they collect roses from old homesteads in the area. When you drive up and open your car door the fragrance is wonderful. 🌹

That is so awesome, Shir! I wish I could see it and enjoy that fragrance! It must be awesome! Several of my bushes don't measure up in the scent department. But, still every day my favorite place is to sit on my front step and just take in natures perfume! The moment we step out of the house it greets us... Well it isn't always so noticeable a change when we also have bouquets in the house. 😁 My hubby loves having a single rose on his desk to sniff!
