Two journal entries in one day. This morning I signed up to the gym in town that's open. I'm cheating on planet fitness. I started thinking that it may be very hard to get back into the swing of things. I was thinking maybe I'm just saying "oh I miss the gym" but I don't. But guess what... I do! I had a great workout. I did a little of everything and I didn't lose near the amount of strength that I thought I had. Saw a few people I know which made me feel more comfortable (and also motivated). I'm back at it and I'm thrilled! Yay me! 💪🏼❤️💪🏼❤️🏋️‍♀️

Good for you! 💜 I love the feeling after a good workout. Those endorphins really kick in after a good sweat! I am happy to be back at my gym but it took me a few days to feel comfortable using the cables and machines. I forgot where to put my feet on the leg press machine etc. I'm sure my form wasn't perfect the 1st few days! You look great btw! 💪👍💜💜

I never have a spotter anyways. I don't use clips, just slide the weights off each side by tipping the barbell to either side.

Oh I wish I could go to LA Fitness and swim. I miss it so much but in the state of MD where I live we are still in stage one and gym is not open.

No chocolate, wifey. Definitely will post a pic when it arrives. No rules, Chris. Only have a staff person present a couple hours in the morning and afternoon with 24 hour access. They basically said try to stay 6 ft apart. Kinda scary. Definitely trying to keep my distance but at this point I'm willing to take some chances which probably sounds terrible but I can't handle this anymore. And thanks everyone! I'm super stoked!

Rock on DP! Awesome to hear you jumped back in and didn’t miss a beat. I just went back to mine today as well. A little nervous but they’ve done a good job modifying the entire club. I need it or covid will erase all the loss to date.

I'm happy you got some gym time! No gym for me but I did do some stretches with light weights today. Everything you can do to get a sense of normalcy helps these days.
