I took a big step today - on to the scale - and received a big shock. Up another few pounds. Those 'few pounds' have really added up and have erased two-thirds of my hard-earned gains (actually, loses.) I shouldn't be surprised. During the past eight weeks of semi-quarantine due to Covid 19, my RLS has been bad, keeping me up sometimes all night. And then I indulge my urge to graze - anything and everything. Ramping up the carbs.
Finally back to playing pickleball at least a few times a week, so that should help, but I really need to get back on the straight and narrow. Keto works for me if I stay on it. With JL not being into keto makes it harder, but I did it once and I can do it again. Oh yeah. did I mention that I've ben having a clandestine drink or two at our daily happy hour? Wine and beer aren't my friends. Priorities, John. Priorities.
