oxdrover's Journal, 07 May 20

went to primary care doctor yesterday, my feet had been swelling a bit and I wanted to check my sodium and potassium and they are within normal okay but I have a high Hemoglobin A1C which means that my blood sugar is high so am back on metformin medication and will do EXACT CALORIE COUNTS and sodium counts, also taking a water pill too til my legs quit swelling. I may be an unusually compliant medical professional myself but I will and do comply. Onward and downward!

If you don’t already know about Mrs. Dash seasonings check them out on Amazon. Delicious and no salt.

It may start out uncomfortable but just 20 minutes of walking everyday will cut down on the inflammation. Too much salt and too many carbs ( like over 200) make me flare up. Once in awhile (maybe once every other month) I take just one water pill and it works for me to flush it out fast... not the recommended package dose ! My doctor approved since I do not like taking OTC for pain relief.
