I weigh 5 lbs more this morning even after a little pig out last night! I knew I'd gain but I anticipated it would be 6 lbs more...so SCORE it was one pound less! That means I successfully lost 11 lbs in 16 days :)

So last night I did eat again...another chicken thigh with a salad but I also made a low carb strawberry pie and had a few pieces of that and 2 sugar free chocolates, the sweets weren't really necessary so shouldn't have done that but I did enjoy them...so I was around 1400 calories for the day.

I did start feeling extremely full and slightly uncomfortable...but then it was bed time and I slept GOOD...

Last night I went grocery shopping for some of the items I had been day dreaming about the last 16 days fasting...I got a beef roast and veggies (I got carrots, radishes to replace potatoes, celery, and bulb onions) - I haven't ever made a beef roast!!! My mom makes them and I ALWAYS love them but never made myself...I'm excited to try! I'm going to pull it out early to let it get room temp, braise it with dry seasoning and red wine, then season the veggies and cook in the oven...I don't have a roasting pan and all thrift stores are closed so will just use my heaviest pan and cover with foil.

I also went to the Indian store and spent $36 on spices LOL...then I bought all of the stuff to make butter chicken & low carb naan.

The crazy thing is that last night I learned that I guess yeast might also be one of the items being bought everywhere and selling out! I asked for it at the Indian store and they said "sold out, everyone is buying it!" then I went to the other store and they said the same and also that shipments aren't coming in! Luckily my mom said she has plenty and is going to give me some.

So plan for the future...sticking to dinners alone for awhile, limit myself to one serving of the pie I made (it's only 150 calories if I do that) and try to limit the sugar free chocolates!

I'm excited to continue my yard projects this weekend...wondering if it'll be easier now that I'm eating again :)

You would expect to fill up some empty spots after fasting. I all sounds good. Good luck with your plan. I do OMAD at least a few times a week. It works well for me. Low carbing (keto) I think reducing times you eat is the best way. Have not seen yeast for 6 weeks. Not sure who makes that stuff but they could make a fortune. Hope you have a good day!!!
