I have really made a turn in the right direction as far as the mental game goes. I expect to record a gain on tomorrow's weekly weigh in. It crossed my mind to eat very little today to try to offset that, but it occurred to me that I wouldn't have an accurate result that way. A gain is data, as is a loss. I can use the data to make smart decisions going forward. I am neither good nor bad. I'm a person who is eating and I plan to eat in a way that is sustainable and that lends itself to good health over the course of my lifetime. My weight will fluctuate, as will my ability to make choices about the optimal amounts and types of food I eat. My journey is lifelong and an endless learning opportunity. Guess what? So is yours. Be smart, be kind, and be forgiving, especially of yourself, which I think is the most challenging. That's my 2 cents! Happy day, everyone!
