Sis♥️♥️😩 oh luv... so much to say😩 My job has been wonderful with me while I have been ill. We have a Dr. out pending Covid-19 testing as well as another staff member. 4 of us have gone through, or going through testing that is taking 7 days. A 5th not tested, exposure, no symptoms. I am hopeful with this 3rd antibiotic. I have not had an oxygen drop since this morning while being still. I still drop with walking and stairs. I was checked on yesterday. Now a new system is in place. Instead of working Tuesday and Thursday 12.75-14 hour shifts, I am working at 🏡 from 8-4 contacting patients and I go in 4-8, or later depending on what is going on with patients already in-house. I’m sure you picked up on it, but I worked in an office of one of the physicians. We are split. The family medicine part of the practice has shifted to Tele-Health. In UC, only a physician is working and the mid levels like PA-C or CRNP do Tele- Health at home.

Squirlz88 and wifey ♥️♥️♥️♥️ Thank you for checking up on me 🤗☺️♥️♥️♥️🙏🙏💜💚 You show up to work and immediately get a mask all staff. Immediately get a temperature check. My coworkers/ family on opposite shift, same thing. Working from home. We keep the radiology techs on regular schedule. I’m actually the only one in UC who has to come in at 4 on my shift because the other days, there is an MA who stays later. Masks, gloves and PPE eye wear for every patient.

I hit 100.6 today and took Tylenol before work. When my temperature was taken at 4 ish 99.8. It is what it is. It’s most likely a bacterial infection. I am feeling improved. I feel more at ease with this schedule. Less exposure. You can see where you go from a mask ( yellow is a surgi-loop mask) standard all day wear for all staff. The N95 was put on as quick as I could with a legit Covid-19 high risk patient, an RN with symptoms. These N95 masks have to be put on very safely and securely. They can cause bruising to the face, and unfortunately it means your wearing it right and for hours. Once I switched up masks, I stayed in the N95. I have 2. I spray them and seal them. I couldn’t even get on here yesterday 😞😔😢 it is so bad. I really hope everyone who has tossed it up to a flu has changed their course of mind. We went from 1 patient in PA 3/6/20 to well over 7,000 as of midnight. Stay home y’all ♥️♥️♥️🙏🙏🙏🙏 Even if we get this right and keep staying 🏡, it’s going to still be a horrific loss of life over the next 2-3 weeks. It’s awful. It will touch us in a more impacted way every damn day. You think of the end of the 🌎 and you never invisioned not being able to embrace you loved ones. ♥️♥️♥️♥️🙏🙏🙏🙏

It’s harder when you wear prescription glasses 😔😩 you have to rio them off as well as goggles when it’s time for either mask then tuck the sides into the mask straps to secure both glasses and goggles. It is a lot worse with the N95😩 that has to be so fit. There is a metal piece that bridges over the nose into the cheeks, and It has to be right. You can’t just throw one of these on. Sure, they are the best, but they are hard to come by and I’m thinking of doing a demonstration on how to effectively apply this to my coworkers. Dr.s have it down, they know. But most are now working at home with Tele-health. Hubby and I are going to take a metal closet shed type thing and put it on our front porch so I can strip down before coming inside. My shoes, they are outside. You have to think about everything. Wash clothes on sterile if you’re an “ essential worker” Wipe down surfaces daily. Just be safe. You will never be over the top in regards to social distancing and cleaning with what the world is dealing with. Allow yourself some grace and a hot minute. There is nothing wrong with you if you’re scared. And don’t be afraid to journal. Our feelings and life are tied into our weight issues whether trying to lose or gain. This is something that is truly serious. Take time to care for yourself and family. Call them, don’t visit, but call. Stay in contact. Remember to end your conversations with I love you♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️ This is going to take the lives of too many. There is no holding hands and saying goodbye 😔😢😔😢 I lost my dad to cancer and at least got to hold his hand. You see ice skating rinks being used for those who have passed in Spain. NY has set up multiple hospitals outside of hospitals. This virus 🦠 doesn’t care about how hold you are. It can take the life of a 30 or 17 year old asthmatic. Be extra kind. I’m not trying to scare anyone, and I experience the same sadness and anxiety. 💜💚

It's great to hear that you get to work from home on some days. I would think that not too many people could look good in glasses and a mask but somehow you seem to do it! That hair is so nice. As long as people have followers and support they should not be intimidated to not journal. Obviously it's important and can be quite interesting. Take care of yourself, stay healthy.

Thanks Ireland, Shirfleur, Sherry, Pascoal777 and DP ♥️♥️♥️🙏😷😷👩🏻‍🚀👩🏻‍🚀🧤🧤🧼🧼🧼🧼🧼 oh that’s crab cake was awesome!! So was the 🧁🤗😋 my hair does what it wants lol. Tumble weed sometimes. I was getting better through the day yesterday and feel way better this morning 🙌 I am on the right antibiotic now. No temp today but most best was waking up to 98% oxygen 💃🏻💃🏻 Having the severe asthma and lung scarring puts me at risk for sure especially working in health care. I have been clinging to the fact I have been on Plaquenil since September so that’s a good thing. It looks like they are doing a study and people with Lupus and RA might not have gotten this. It’s being looked into. 💜💚
