Thanks keyten! I can't wait either! 😁 Chris, I did my spring pruning of my roses just a day before our last frost! I was so cross to see that... But, the new growth seems OK, so it must not have frozen the new cuts too much. I hope we have only balmy weather for your sake! BTW, my kid's high school was just closed for up to 14 days... Goodness!

can I ask where you live? Im in MN, doubt we will see our flowers soon but Im so ready for them 😔 

The sun was nice, but it definitely was a little chilly. I took a nice jog to the mailbox 😁 

How pretty! I have daffodils popping up all over my lot (about1/3 acre). The previous owners planted bulbs everywhere and depending on how much rain we get I am often surprised by unexpected flowers! Can't wait for the irises. Unlike you, I can't have roses because the deer eat them, thorns and all.

Thank you all! Shir, yes, the fragrance is fantastic! Vmartens14, you have all my sympathy! I lived in MN four years as a kid. Either fozen or eaten by mosquitoes or roasting in the summer are the sum total of my memories! But, it is beautiful! May spring some soon for you! I'm actually just near Seattle, WA.  

Fritzy! Do post a picture of your yard! It is so cute, and wirh bright yellow flowers everywhere it must be so pretty! I about lost my mind the other day. A doe wandered through... She or her sister deer managed to eat every new growth of five rose bushes last spring. I love deer, but I get to enjoy my roses all the time and a deer a few minutes every so often... Please, please, please stay away!  

Melissa - the weeds on my lot are about a foot high right now. I can barely see the flowers for the weeds. It's really hard to find and keep a lawn/yard service where I live. I haven't had anyone do anything since October and then they stopped coming by. But I have 2 guys here right now and am crossing my fingers they will work out. Once the weeds are cut down I'll take some pictures! The deer don't bother the ireses or daffodils but no one has roses here unless they put big cages around them. I have cages around all my fruit trees because they will stand on their hind legs to get to the peaches and cherries! But I enjoy the wildlife so much that I put up with the messy yard and constantly wash down the deck and figure I'll only get about half of the peaches each year. 

How beautiful! I wish I was there so I could smell the fragrance.
