It's Monday again. Lol. New day new way of dealing with life on life's terms. I have been so apprehensive about starting my new antidepressant and going off of my last. I had to change because of cost. Not what I expected to happen in my life but it did. So last night I took the first one. I've been monitoring my heart and it was 91bpm after just walking around my kitchen. kinda made me nervous. But now it's back down. I really am glad I got my Fitbit because it helps me alot mentally knowing what's going on with my pressures. My friend is a fireman/paramedic and he told me those things are garbage but I'm hardheaded and have to find out things for myself.
So yesterday was my cheat day with food. Didn't intend to but wanted to keep my son happy after all he did for me. He go 2 tires fixed, filled up my car and put oil in it.
He likes Church's Chicken so I had the chicken strips meal. I pulled the breading off of most of them. 1 honey biscuit which I could have done without, dirty rice and fried okra. 1200 just for that meal. I logged it in and said ok, this is it for today. Thank God it was at 4 in the afternoon and not before bedtime.
I'm so glad I started this program. I watch and listen to all of you's who help me so much. I know the things to do and not to do. Today it's back to my regimen of healthy eating.
I thank God every day for letting me wake up in a safe home with family and friends who love me and care about me.
