Day 16
Long weekend. I visited my daughter - got lost because there was an accident and a detour to get around, but that was ok (blah) because her performance and the Barbecue were cancelled.
Went to meet an online prospect - he is cuter than his picture but I have not heard from him since. We had dinner and he seemed pretty tense - we also ran out of things to say. Oh well.
Took my sister from Cape Cod to New York City because her friend needed a ride to the airport to get home to New Orleans - except that her friend changed her mind, so I spent Saturday and Sunday driving to NYC, hanging out with my sister and some of the time with her husband, and then drove home - it was relaxing in an odd way.
Then my roommate came to measure and we made a plan for her to move in on the third weekend in October, which is sooner than I thought so that is good.
All in all, I ate healthily except for the french fries Sunday. It is not showing on the scale but I think I am not being careful about the calories. Time to get out the measuring cups.

Hi Abba! Glad you got to see your daughter. I read your comment on my journal and you made me laugh, Kids! A date good for you. You are getting out and that is the main thing. Keep going out and you just never know. Have a great Tuesday and keep us informed of those dates.

Hi Abba, I have not had a chance to read your last few journals, but wanted to thank you for stopping by. I will get back to you later. It is getting late and wooo am I tired. I hope you Labor Day was great. Have a really wonderful week. Don't worry about the weight. It will happen, slow and sure, but it happens. Stay strong and persistent!!!!

wow, Its sounds like you had a great weekend. Good thing the BBQ was canceled or you might have over eaten. lol ... was glad to hear about the date. Keep trying. and hang in there...

It sounds like you had a busy weekend. I ate at a friend's and went out to eat with another. I have been to the Cape many times too, but have yet to get to the Islands. My aunt gets a cabin in Marshfield, MA usually each summer and both my sisters went and I wasn't invited so didn't go this year. I went often since returning to New England when my uncle and cousin's husband were alive - I would go with them and my cousin Cindy many summers... The weather is nice in New England now anyway, a bit windy and warm, but nice...

That was certainly a very active weekend abba. Interesting that you did the online date, the tension is definitely not a good sign and can be easily observed. It sounds like a good start though, and I hope you continue to go out in the future. You sound well.
