Not a great workout today but not bad. Busted out 95 on incline again. This time I could go a little lower with proper form. Busted out sets of 8,6&5. Warmups were 65 which was my high before the hubby made it 95. I told him no more jumps for awhile. I want to work on getting this weight as close to my chest as possible, within 2” of the implants. (They protrude and are mostly immobile. Dr said I could lift weights but never ever touch the bar to my chest just in case. I have with the bar only but didn’t rest any of the weight on my chest).

Legs finally feel a little better after cramping up horribly on squats then again on leg press on Friday. Lower back is still a little achy from 155 deads but not bad. My massage lady will work it out Tuesday :).

I also curled the EZ bar plus 30#. Somewhere between 48-52#. Can’t remember if it was 18 or 22# when I weighed it. Kinda cool as so far 40# is my highest. We’ve been working on cable curls instead at 15 each arm separately.

Oh! I feel so,so,sooo bad. I mentioned resting bar to chest. And you are after getting closer as possible setting yourself into danger.

I have same issue with bar over chest but different reason. I have a pacemaker and if bar landed on it, it might smash it. I can't do quite as much as you...that's really good!

Don’t feel bad Tassos! I always work as far down as I can manage. @Tom I don’t think I’ll hurt one unless I drop the bar lol. That’s why I have hubby spotting me.

So the board chest press is similar to what I’m doing. Hmmm. One of those foam attachments would be handy but knowing me I’d probably lower it all the way to my chest.
