Fritzy 22's Journal, 09 Jan 20

Started week 2 of the Daniel fast with the same main meal as week 1 - meatless chili. It's better with ground beef in it but I don't mind it. Don't think I will ever go vegan because I can't get close to 40 grams of protein. Need to go grocery shopping, all the vegetables left in the refrigerator are carrots and celery.

Thanks Moopie and Bella. I bet Moopie's chili was better. Mine had no meat, so just tomatoes, kidney beans and onion. Still good though on a cold day.

Good going, Fritzy! Do get some. More interesting food in the house than carrots and celery! 😁 Your strength to stick with your plan is super!! ❤️

Melissa - I just got back from the grocery store. I ate all of last week's veggies except the celery and carrots. I can never go through an entire bunch of celery, but I almost finished it yesterday. Bought more brussels sprouts, onions, mushrooms, yams and potatoes. Also got 2 more grapefruits, hope they are as good as the others were. I bought a can of garbanzo beans, someone had a post about roasting them. This week I plan of roasting yams, the chick peas and maybe some onion and potatoes.
