Calories do count!!!!! Welcome to Motivational Monday! This past week, I didn't gain tho I did eat higher calories a few days. Yesterday, I realized I had not been adding in the calories from the sugar-free hard candies (Russell Stover) I had been popping in everyday, anywhere from 50-200+ calories! Grrrr I was taken in by the "free" part since all the carbs are from sugar alcohols and in theory, are all dispelled from the body. As most of you probably know, excessive sugar alcohols can also cause ALOT of gastric distress! (eat with caution) The candies are now put away in a container, for an occasional one or two. My focus will be on calories from real, whole foods.

Question: do you feel calories are important? I sure do, as I work on balance. In the past, either I was trying to starve myself with as few calories as possible or not tracking and eating as much as possible.
