My sister is in the hospital in San Diego which is about 75 miles from me. I have been running back and forth making due with the food venues close by. Today I went into a little Thai place and ordered Pad Thai off the lunch menu. It was really quite good. A little too much sauce for my taste, but it had good flavor.. What was so nice was that it was a really nicely portioned lunch item. Enough to satisfy the lunchtime hunger but not a huge entree. Just perfect.i May eat there again tomorrow and have them hold about half the sauce.

Dana a—.thank you very much for your offer of help. I really appreciate that. I have been really lucky the last three days, have just been able to zoom back and forth with little traffic congestion. Amazing to me. It took me a little longer today — traffic slowed down just north of San Clemente, but wasn’t awful. Not sure how this will end, we have been fighting her strange health issues for 50 years, just trying to keep her alive. We have had a good run.
