Everybody else is having tacos so grabbed my leftover taco meat :). The carb balance tortillas are awesome. 6g net carbs for those looking for that, 5g protein and tons of fiber.

Sorry sunshine! Tacos are great protein and fairly healthy if you use lean meat 😉. I use 90% homegrown beef then drain and rinse, return to the pan and add seasonings. I read several months ago that rinsing 90% gets the fat off so it’s then 95%. USDA website I believe if anyone wants to double check that.

I have those tortillas almost every day for lunch. Great source of fiber and protein - the only 2 things I track other than calories.

@vcabral be sure not to season until after rinsing. I made that mistake once lol. Washes the seasonings right off and left with bland meat.

LZ same here on tracking and why I eat them. I love how it makes it a bit easier to get protein in and a lot easier for fiber. I had them more often when in a deficit. Doesn’t hurt that I can’t tell the difference between them and other tortillas other than maybe a bit more dense.

Kelley, if I could fit it in, I’d eat them drizzled with white queso lol. But I’d rather have my snacks so no queso for me :/.
