When I hit a plateau I can tune in to The Dash Diet for weight loss, remember it's progress not perfection, and patience!!! I weighed in at 164, but just a couple of days ago, I was 167 (clothes and shoes on). Not really budging the last month. My kitchen is a mess, so I procrastinate eating my steel cut oats because I only have one dirty small pot. I need the soluble fiber for my cholesterol. Planning on a huge deep clean and sort tomorrow.
I also joined a beginner Hatha Yoga class to stretch out my body and learn some of these stretches as my hips and knee's are stiff from arthritis and have lost a lot of flexibility. Starts in early September at the local YMCA.
I picked up some new Levi's. I'm down to a size 32 waist or, size 12. Happy about this, but so much fat/muffin tops at my waist so I have to cover it with a proper t-shirt that goes own to my hips. A few more pounds to lose and I should fit into them with a proper gap at my waist. They fit properly over my hips, thighs, legs though. It's frustrating buying pants when your waistline is large in comparison to your butt!!
I went out of town to visit a lifelong friend and she noticed the weight loss, loss of doughiness all over, including my face. It made me feel good!!! And I had a ham and cheese sandwich and didn't feel guilty for the fat content of ham and cheese because I need a lifestyle that's flexible for special visits, occasions!
I cooked multiple serving of fish on the BBQ to throw into salads this week, great convenience!! Stocked up on back to school servings for lunches, legumes, canned fish.
