Sounds like you may have some tired feet! What a beautiful place to walk. On an 85 degree day no less! It doesn’t get much better here.

Thank you all so much. It helps me so much to keep motivated!! Love2, you must be nearby! Hello! It was pretty warm yesterday especially mid-afternoon after walking a few hours! Funny thing is my feet don't hurt. They don't anymore and I don't even feel tired today at all... And I was moving pretty fast. I guess we just become accustomed to what we make our bodies do. Plus, people are super efficient walkers, so... Yeah don't burn as many calories as would be nice! 😁

Who is that skinny woman on the path. 😁

Bristle Cone, you are so kind! It has been a very long time since I was "skinny!" 😁😁 That is amazing that you climbed my mountain! I have not... I would like to, but I suspect it takes some real fitness and experience. I've hiked around and up it some distance but I've never once done a true climb! How long does it take?

Depends on route used. We generally left early afternoon and climbed to I think 11000. Then up at 1:30am to head for summit so as to reach there by around 6:00. Easier walking on glacier when frozen. Then down to base by 8 or so. Pack up and head on down.

Bristle Cone, that is a huge adventure! I am totally impressed. Have you climbed a lot? If you managed Ranier three times, it seems to me you might have a sizable list of others.

Wow, you are like Forrest Gump except instead of running you are walking everywhere lol. That’s awesome walking 15 miles a day.
