Anyone know how to log that yellow powdered Mexican cheese dip? I can’t find anything that I think is similar. TIA

Never heard of powdered dip. Well, I guess I have.. Onion or ranch mixed into sour cream. What do you mix the powder into?

It’s the yellow dip served places like El Chico’s.

A server at our old El Chico’s told me many years ago that it’s a powder that they mix with water and add veggies or onions to. She said it wasn’t healthy and I should stick with the salsa. She told us this because we were regulated every Saturday night while I was growing up. Plus birthdays for almost every member of the extended family; so a birthday monthly usually lol.

Just entered it in for el Chico’s. They changed their dip it seems but at least I can find it again even if it’s not the exact dip. It’s gotta be close right??

Kenna, it was at a restaurant so no package. I’ve stopped bothering to ask. All the mom and pop places just say they don’t know or it’s ‘a lot’ lol.

Bella, now they serve a white dip I guess. That’s real cheese. Keep in mind this was probably 15-20 years ago. It tastes the same but they could’ve changed the powdered stuff 😉

just log it as a 1/4 cup sugar and same in butter. that should do it. 😁

Oh... If it has real cheese instead od the fake studd, you should be able to just replace the butter with cheese...

Sweet! Chris to the rescue again!! I’m guessing that 1oz makes one of those individual cups. So much better than el Chico’s new queso lol. 124 bs 380! Lower protein though 😭

Now I have to make up 300 kcal! Grrr. Thankfully I’ve done my best to overload protein this week. 120-150g/day. I can take 106 yesterday without any issues I think. I’ll try to get more meat in today. Tuna can be my snack if nothing else! Being gone from 9-6 yesterday meant very little snack options lol. It was popcorn and other junk for the sales or nothing. I chose half a handful of popcorn then nothing 😉. Guess I need to log that half a handful :/.
