I was asked why I eat the same lunch almost every day. The answer is because it works so well for me. I eat breakfast really early like about 4 am and I leave to go swim about 8. I swim for 2 hours— I am not an Olympic swimmer by any means but by the time I’m done I need to eat. So, within a hour I eat yogurt, with blueberries and homemade granola plus peanut butter powder and flax seed. It provides me with that 4:1 ratio of carbs to protein that works for me in terms of replacing glycogen stores. It also tastes really great. A win/win for me.

Thinking about doing something like that formula for when in need of easy digestion. Know that was a high priority after hitting my head hard on a rock. Yesterday I concluded that Fish Pudding would be worth a try. Maybe with some ginger tea added. When feeling more strong, I consider animal fats as a more valuable energy source, for hormonal balance, nerves and the vital fat sourced vitamins. Have my breakfast at 4am too. It is wonderful time of the day. Fuel up, feeling the energy spread, and do the activity we like. Bit envious on the swimming part. Don't know of any pools around here. Always used them when living in cities.

Diddlee — the water is magic for me. I just zone out and I lose track of time. I am in my own world. I have always been a swimmer, but the last 15-18 years I swim at least 5 days a week.
