Didn't want to jinx it but it happened today!
Last week, I found a almost brand-y new Bowflex Power Pro gym w all the attachments on Craigslist. I offered $100 dollar on a whim and they took it. Some parts were still in boxes! We went to go get it Sat, after some arguments w hubby (which I won :-) ). It did not fit in my car. The guy was super nice and said he would hold it even though we told him that we had no trucks available to help us out. And he also said he was getting other offers for more!
On the way home, I was talking to my cousin about his new job w some electric company & he asked me what was wrong. I told him about the Bowflex and how it didn't fit, but I was just a little disappointed but that I would get over it. He said he would go get it Sat (today). I didn't even know he had a truck!
So, my cousin just dropped it off and he was so excited about his first paycheck that he wouldn't take our money! So my Bowflex was FREE!!!!! I have always wanted a Bowflex!!!! & now it is a FREE one!!!! I am so extra happy today! Especially, because right after I squeezed $100 out of the budget and said we could afford it to hubby (barely), E's car went to the shop and cost $450! So that meant that we could no longer can afford it, but we were already in an agreement and had to suck it up. But free is totally affordable! :-)
