Some fascinating numbers came up during my vacation. I took the Tanita scale since we were driving, and I was able to do my morning and evening weigh ins. I also tracked Fitbit. Some numbers seemed counterintuitive at first. For one thing, I did some 16:8 and OMAD, but when I ate, I had more carbs than usual. In one case (last weekend), I went overboard and tossed on 10 pounds of water. But I lost that quickly over the remainder of the week. I've been able to stay in the high 220s for most of my vacation. This all seems to be water loss, however. My body fat readings have been higher, averaging around 21 percent. This was down to 19 percent before vacation. I don't really believe those numbers (too low), but the trend has been weird. The other interesting number is my resting heart rate. It's up to 60-62 BPM from 45-47 BPM before vacation. This seems counterintuitive, but with all the extra rest, I'm positing that my body is working at a higher level and is not conserving energy to keep running despite a lack of sleep. I'll try to add more sleep now that I'm back. I also severely limited my computer screen time. I'm sure that helped. I also added Berberine and for the second week of vacation, I did not take Ashwaganda.
