I’m up late catching up on some reading. I do a fair amount of weight loss mentoring which often extends to life coaching. Consequently I follow several life coaches that I believe have excellent philosophies and are consistent with my views and the way I do things. The following is from a blog written by one of them.

Someone asked (at a conference she was giving) how you know if you believe in a goal enough. Weird question but her answer was— by the action you took last week.

Did.you take action to fulfill your current dream last week?

What about today?

If you didn’t, you aren’t believing hard enough.

You might ask yourself, how can I believe harder?

The reply, take more action toward your goal.

Don’t wait around for motivation.

Motivation doesn’t achieve goals. Discipline achieves goals.

Think hard enough to feel hard enough to do hard enough.

Don’t know what to do.

DO SOMETHING and find out if that was it.

If that wasn’t it, do something else .

Repeat.

Pretty good advice. Pretty soon you will look up from the work and see your dream coming true..

I like it, I believe it I practice it.
