Lord help me... kiddo had her first day on the job and loved it. Boss didn’t have exact change so gave her a bit of pay from tomorrow. This means she has a small advance and can afford to pay for a nicer meal at the mall tonight.
Our plans keep changing so I just took my anxiety meds and told her to let me know when finalized and what my plans were. 😉
As of now her friend comes over about 6:30 and we leave at 7 to drop them at the mall. We will rather grab a pizza or head to the new Swadley BBQ. Cheesy goodness or lots of proteins and fried foods. Hard choice lol. Leaving that up to hubby even though I’m supposed to make restaurant choices now. I want both however if there isn’t a wait for BBQ I think he would want that.
Hoping we have time to shop. I really want to look at the furniture store. The youngest wants a loft bed with a cover for the lower part. She wants it tall enough and big enough to store toys and have a play area. For 4 years old she sure knows what she wants lol.

The stores were closed 😭. Our mall is almost vacant now. It closes at 9 and one would think the majority of stores would stay open until then but nope. The only things open were Claire’s, the stores with outside entrances that stay open later, Chen gardens and the movie place. I could see through the gate though and could tell the furniture store didn’t have any kids beds in stock. Not a single one that I could tell. Guess it’s online shopping for me as the other furniture places are twice the price of those in the big city (OKC) and three times the price as online. We did enjoy dinner! Turns out he wanted pizza more than bbq. Silly man thought each slice was 150 kcal and didn’t read that 150 was toppings only and the crust was another 150. Lucky man ate 8 pieces and still stayed within his calories today lol. Kinda blew mine I think. Or I will. Movie time so popcorn will be involved as well as some hard candy.
