Feb 25th I weighed in at 242.2 and today- about 3 months later- 216.2. My strength is definitely increasing in every body part and I like being able to lift heavier and heavier. I think I am the strongest I have ever been- except maybe legs. I remember doing 4 plates (45's) each side and I'm not quite there yet. Currently 3 45's and a 25. And I hope to make progress there soon. I feel strong today and so that's the upside. The downside is the pictures I took are pretty horrifying. Lots of work to do. LOTS!! Its funny what lighting can do to crash your ego. When I was lifting- I had the whole area to myself and was impressed by how much muscle I appeared to have... secretly admiring myself in my new sports bra and for once not wearing workout pants with bleach stains but almost like the other girls with their cute matching NIKE attire. Fast forward to the locker room 15 minutes later and holy shit- it was like a different person. The same lighting David uses to show every striation on his shoulders and chest made me cringe. There was nowhere to hide. I was thinking my wedding dress isn't far from zipping but I looked at my measurements from that time (2004)- (yes I love tracking my weight and measurements and I keep that stuff for review- so 15 years later- I can pull it out) and I still have 10 inches to lose off my hips and 10 off my waist. I know I'll get there but damn...It's a process. Never should have gone in the locker room. :(

You're doing awesome and looking really good. A lot of progress in 3 months! It's a process and hard work but fun, for me at least. I hope it is for you as well. 😂😘

I never had a wedding, so no wedding dress, but last year I found a beautiful vintage Oleg Cassini cream beaded bodice dress for $60. Planning on wearing it for vow renewal, but it's almost 2 sizes smaller than current size I wear. I can fit into it unzipped, so that's my motivation. I was going to try it on again, but took my measurements a week ago and not enough has changed. I still have some work to do.

Becc, Oleg Cassini is an icon❤️❤️ He designed clothes for Jackie O❤️❤️👏👏 I wore one of his wedding gowns 5/27/06 when I married my best friend.
