Today will be a trial day - will be eating under 20 net carbs/day in preparation for the Get Back to Basics Challenge starting tomorrow. It has been almost 2 years since I've been on Atkins Induction Phase so this all has to be relearned.
Have already found one goof up - I bought my Dole Salad Mix (3 carbs) instead of baby greens (0 carbs). And while I'm at the store I need to buy some decadent Ken's Chunky Blue Cheese dressing - why not go all out?
DH is working a normal work schedule this week, so there will be no partying tonight. But I can be thankful that I get to celebrate New Years with a big glass of water to say good bye to the excesses of 2012.

Heather - Since our bodies don't digest fiber, I am a firm believer in NET carbs. I'll be eating mainly meat and veggies (for you it would be salmon, eggs and veggies?) I am only doing this for 16 days, then I'll add back in my nuts, etc. Think this will be a big help weaning the crap out of my diet.
