Here is the final damage - up 11 pounds!

Besides the usual foods - I must admit I got into the beer and the rum. Apparently this was not a good idea.


First day back to work today. Got to run at noon and take the pooch to the groomer.

I'll return after lunch!

Damage assessed, now time to get cracking. Me too -- I didn't have a gain but I have had a holiday long (thanksgiving to Christmas) stand still and time has come to get that moving in the right direction. Hoping you had a great holiday :)

Well, at least you had the courage to get on the scale & own up to the truth. My day of reality hits home will be tomorrow morning. The good news is, we are on top of the situation & refuse to let this holiday set the stage for a full scale reversion. One of the new, healthy habits we have learned is how to get back to eating right.

GG - am sure your day of truth with your scale won't be half as bad. Let's hope those healthy habits will be re-learned quickly! And - just so you know - I heard you loud and clear about the exercise on the mornings I'm up early with DH. I just haven't reacted yet. Don't give up on me!

I've yet to assess the damage done, as you have, but as we get near the new year, I'm optimistic. My menu for New Year's Eve/ Day, is a lot more, low carb, friendly than the days leading up to, and on Christmas. I think the new year, as it usually does, strengthens us with a new reslove; so let's not give up on each other.

I agree with ShyGuy... we just need to get back on track..forget about the past and do better...I'm sick of being the slacker again..We can do it Buffy girl...:O)

I have damage too, just unrecorded. But we both know the path to success 'cuz we've been on it before and we can get back on it again. The real test of how much we've learned on this WOE is not so much what happened over the holidays, as how directly we can go back to our now-normal WOE!
