OMG - you tease Karma it gets ya everytime!
Yesterday I posted a tiny vent toward a couple of my more challenging customers and today it came back with a vengence.
I keep a courtesy dish of candy on my store counter for customers. A Woman in my store today asked 'Is this free?' I replied, "Yes Ma'am"
She picked up the bowl and poured the entire contents into her purse!
What are you gonna do but smile, wish her a Merry Christmas, and once she cleared the premises, LAUGH. Well, that and come out here to FS and post.
In the event you're curious:
No, she did not appear hungry or homeless so, no, I did not ignore a person obviously in need nor miss an opportunity to do a good deed by keeping her in the store to query for additional financial assistance.
No, she did not do any business with me so the candy wasn't a loss leader.
No, it wasn't the oddest thing to ever happen in my store but after this I shall post no more as I now see what teasing Karma brings me.
My apology to Karma and good customers everywhere.
