I've been struggling to find the right WOE for myself. I know if it's too restrictive or requires me to cook separate meals for my family, I won't stick with it. I need to work out the right amount of grains for myself so I won't feel energy drained, constantly hungry, or light headed. I'm usually very active, but have been sidelined by a long lasting chest cold and hope to start walking this week so I can work back up to my usual workouts. I have been lazy about logging food and of course the weight went up. I started logging again today and hope to stick with it as it allows me to manage my food without feeling deprived. My current plan is to focus on getting at least 25 grams of fiber while staying within 1700 calories. I will also drink a minimum of 64 oz. of water, 96 will be even better. My birthday is April 7 and I plan to stick close to this, while allowing myself some wiggle room. My best to everyone on their journey. It's not easy, that's for certain.
