Kenna Morton's Journal, 08 Mar 19

Boyfriend and I were involved in projects today so at dinner he suggested we stop at a restaurant. Family style place, nothing fancy. Waffles and eggs and bacon sounded good. The waffle looked great but it was so Sweet that I could barely get it down. Stopped at about half. They must have dipped the bacon in syrup before cooking it. Sweet and just a bit too carmalized. The eggs were great— hard to ruin an egg. I just am not a fan of most casual restaurant’s food. Nice to remind myself why I cook at home most of the time. He had pecan crusted trout that was pretty ok. The cornbread again was so sweet that It could have been cake. He ate the fish and left most everything as well. Crossing that place off the repeat list.

Comments
Once you eat healthy food and then try to eat not-so-healthy food, it's kind of gross. Also, you usually feel worse.
