The extended arm really shows up well in the January.

I don't drop my dumbbells so that may be the main builder all these years but yes, I have started heavy kneeling cable crunches. I do those maybe every other day. I noticed that too. Chest looks tighter and upper abs are protruding a lot. I guess a 6 pack is not in my future, just a massive 2 pack hahahahha

Thanks, Tom, I should angle it like that for all of the pics from here on. It shows the forearm vascularity.

Thanks man, I know it's in there, I had one when I was 163 or so in 2003. Back when I was single with no kids it all seemed easier. I guess now that the kids are old enough to take care of themselves I will have one again. Hmmm, kids cause dad bod, I get it now LMAO! I don't know how Keilin and Rosio do it! Just gained some more respect for those girls.

Where is all your excess skin from that's all that's stopping you having one today. I know the feeling😭

I think I'm fatter than I appear because of the muscle. I don't think it's just skin is what I'm saying. We'll see in the summer when I make another collage. Fingers crossed hahahaa

Have you ever had visceral fat checked. That's the only fat I care about at the end of the day. Mine ballooned out in my 2 boozy month's

Visceral fat is the dangerous fat around your organs you can't see or feel. The important one you want low.

Totally independent of body fat. Measured from 1 to 20

Yeah, I've seen autopsy shows showing it. Skinny folk barely have any, the obese have an insane amount. Should scare anyone from getting fat or being an alcoholic.,

Diablo360x, I haven't done a combined resistance-training/cardio program on a regular basis since I was 30 years old. (I'm now 65.) Not that I would or could emulate your example, and not intending to be critical in any way: Could you tell me how much time, in an average week, you spend resistance training and how much time you spend on cardio? And, has that time commitment changed much since you began this as a serious effort? Thanks!

Definitely, when I gain fat I usually stop all resistance training so not only do I gain fat, I lose muscle. This is why when I do get serious again I have a radical change as muscle memory allows rapid muscle regain as I get leaner. I spend an average of 14 hours in the gym per week. I use a recumbent bike at a really slow pace at work. The seat is comfortable so u sit in it almost my entire shift and pedal slowly. This allows me to eat 3500-3700 calories per day while losing fat. People just chalk up my being able to eat so much because of the muscle but I am actually really active compared to most people.

Aww thank you! Kids really can make you gain weight, I used to eat the baby food when feeding them, also eating more for the stress that being a parent cause, I started eating at midnight just because I was awake feeding the baby, etc. Life gets a little hard when you have a family with very busy days, but it is not impossible. 🏋️‍♀️
