I hit a new low on the scale this morning! I didn't record it because I want to see how it plays out when I weigh in on Monday. I am tickled, I had to get off the scale and balance it then weigh again just to see if I was reading it right
It is cold here again today and I am bundled up in a sweatshirt with another shirt underneath. Last night was a night of noisy storms. We bowled in league and I was so disappointed when the league president announced we should all bring treats
for Valentines Day next week. Bah, Humbug! How am I supposed to maintain my new loss when they keep throwing treats in my path?

no! you get to claim it! even if you fluctuate back up a day or two you STILL reached a lower weight than you've reached before so you DID lose so you GET to claim it!!

I will just have to admit that the nudge on the scale is just what I needed. Now I am more determined than ever to keep my food diary and not nibble. Thanks for all the encouragement.

Keep up that determination! You ask how to maintain your new loss when they keep throwing treats in your path? With resolve! Yes, I have fallen to temptation before, but it feels so bad later or the next day. I know you can do it. Decide ahead of time exactly what you are going to do, and the suggestions to take something, are great. Christmas I allowed myself one little thing to not hurt my hostess, but then once done, figured might as well do one more item, and then one more until I binged and almost ate them out of house and home, and felt so bad later. It's hard for you I know but we are with you, and hope you can stand strong. Keep up the good work. I also agree that if you get a new low it is a time to celebrate, even though you know there probably will be temporary corrections. That's okay, your body has to get used to the new low. Congratulations on your new number.

GOAL!!!! Godspeed to you! You can handle...it....the bakeries are not going to close... so...just hang in there...Congrats on all your hard work...the "treats" thingy is just another challenge you are certainly up to meeting!!!

Bring Your Own and introduce them to clean eating. I bowl as well and our Xmas party had the same problem. So I made several items, even cheesecake, but I made them healthier and cleaner and I precut the correct servings. Good luck. 🙋
