Going to a NYE party tonight, and I loaded up the car with all of the cookies, cakes, chocolates, and rolls that I have in my house. There will be a potluck dessert so I am going to get rid of all of the treats.
On Friday I hit my eye with a tape measure and bruised my eyeball - no tearing or any cuts, just a bump that shows up as some swelling on the eyeball scan.
I cleaned up my fridge again yesterday, and have plenty to eat without shopping for anything. Going to try to get some containers set up for the week so I don't have to think about anything food wise again til next week. I figured out that I can buy bulk kale salads and saute them and freeze them so I can buy veggies cheaply and have them ready. Bought a salmon and will make salmon salads with the cooked veggies and voila freezable meals!
I have way too much cheese in my house, but if I cook it with veggies, again, freezable.

AWww about your eye. What a good idea to get rid of holiday sweets!! Sounds like you have a plan!! You can actually freeze kale fresh and then cook when needed or use them in smoothies. Does take up more room in the freezer uncooked. I love freezing things extras for those meals to grab either for lunches or a time crunch dinner. I also make veggie burgers out of all kinds of leftovers. Just me so I'm always looking for ideas.
