Who am I trying to kid? I had stated on Monday how I am grateful for patience. Well, after today's weigh in I am completely out of patience. Time to take it to the next level!

And to add insult to injury - I saw an unflattering picture of me taken Wednesday night. Can't afford to do anything about the wrinkles but this belly has got to go.

Operation Weekend Watch - please be forewarned. I am going to monopolize this weekend's postings. This girl has some serious work cut out for her!

I am thankful for the wake up call.

Wishing you the best Buffy -- HATE those unflattering pix. My belly is totally my problem area too. Been doing standing pike crunchs on my potty breaks at the office but really need to figure out something more to do for this area -- of course c-section x4 didn't help :) Wishing you a good weekend -- it is gorgeous in Nebraska!!

Gigi - Good to hear you are having nice fall weather - always more pleasant to get your outside work done in the sunshine! I have a whole list of tummy exercises. My problem is I'm not doing them. That is one of the things I am going to change! Have a great weekend too!

I just took an unflattering picture on purpose. Challenges officially suck. It did kill my chocolate craving though!

FWIW...I actually think my belly looks WORSE now than it did LAST summer when I was about 10 pounds HEAVIER!!! How can that be? BTW....can't imagine there being an unflattering photo of you....you seem like one of those who would always look just great no matter what! Good luck this weekend and monopolize away! I'll watch for your entries...It'll be great seeing more during what is always a slower time.

Buffy I felt the same way when I saw my challenge photos - and when I went back and saw that I have actually dropped very little in weight since December last year (didn't help that I gained 5kgs during my split and had to lose that again)...but me too I really need to get on with getting to my goal now....no more weekends off. I'm also taking green coffee supplement as a hope to boost my sluggish metabolism - so crossing fingers this weeks drop is a sign of things to come....we can do this!!

Sandy - could be one of those things that, irregardless of our weight, the older we get the harder we are going to have to work on it. Hope I am up for the challenge.

Hang in there Buffy; as long as you never give up, then eventually you'll see some improvement. Try getting back to the basics, stay on top of your food diary, and make adjustments as necessary. Be blessed in your efforts. :-)

That's it get mad! That brings a certain type of grim determination required to get through the weekend...I am right there with you, I hope! In spirit only, as I will be leaving on the boat in a little over 2 hours & won't be back till Sunday afternoon. A lot can go horribly wrong food wise in that short of time frame. Now about that pic...we are our own worst critic, so keep that in mind too. You have come such a long way, you certainly have to be looking way better than before...right?
