Day 16 of domestic goddess life;-)

Navigated Photobucket for over an hour and finally managed to paste the thumbnail pic below. It was taken with my oldest son after his high school grad ceremony last June. Lol my most recent pic as well - thought it was time for an update.;-) Try as I might, the full size image went beyond the journal space here, but to see a bigger image, clicking on the pic below works.

Ironically still no exercise possible after 22 days with sciatica... and yet unbelievably below my WW goal weight right now which has never happened since joining FS back in Jan/08. Feels so good.:) Funny how dreams or seemingly unattainable goals are reached but not the way we had hoped or envisioned...in my case, a sleep deprived, physically exhausted wreck, barely able to accomplish a shower, meals and dishes lol. Who would think - the big break I'd been waiting for?

Guess that this time away from work has meant less emotional stressors, a real gift. Calmly trucking along. An eating plan of sorts has evolved of about 300 cals per meal and three 100cal snacks in between. Notice that having 3oz (86g) of wild salmon for protein at lunch, for example, is very satisfying and incredibly sustaining long afterwards. Lol little tweaks like that. Sometimes try new recipes to offset boredom.;-) Tonight might make the Chickpea Ragout recipe from FS for excitement...finally the world is small and manageable.;-)

On the health front, managed to sleep 3 hrs straight last night, so some progress there.... S-l-o-w-l-y going in the right direction. Always happy when the sun finally dawns, and sooo thankful to get off that torturous bed mattress....

I'm liking that "Domestic Goddess" thing you got going lady!! Nothing worse than a miserable night of not being able to get comfortable and ending on the couch and too little sleep. Hope you got a nap. Your son looks like you! Good looking boy and his mama! You are a tiny little thing! Hope you are feeling less pain today!
