Love kholrabi. I make salad with cabbage, sliced apple and and kholrabi. Like a Cole slaw. So delicious.

Gail— you are too much some times. Thais was meant to show what kholrabi looks like and that it is a great addition to people's meals for a change of pace. Very delicious. The website is listed at the top or just Google it if you are interested.

I appreciate your effort, Kenna. Some members constantly post graphics that ought to get more skepticism IMO.

Missy— do give it a try. I’m hooked. It looks a little intimidating, but I did look it up on you tube to see how to prepare it for eating. You can cook it as well, maybe sometime I will, but for now I’m a happy camper Eating it raw. Good fiber content and I do have problems eating the amount I should.

Wait.....wait.....WAIT! You can cook kohlrabi?!? I've made it with cabbage in a slaw but I haven't tried cooking it. Personally, I enjoy signing "Kohlrabi" while dicing it.

Terrapin12– some of the info I read says you can use it as a substitute for potatoes but that doesn’t really appeal to me. I eat potatoes in moderation so not looking for a substitute right now.

Kenna, we slow cooked potatoes in foil jackets with pork and sauerkraut the other day. I eat a potato almost daily. Love the amount of micro nutrients in them. I can sub cauliflower in tots if I'm motivated but I can't see using kohlrabi as a sub.
