It’s almost 2am. I have a party, appt, lunch, party, getting consumes on again, trick or treating, haunted house, pumpkin patch and dinner tomorrow. I’ll be home from 7:30 to 3:30 and again from 4-4:30 until 8-9pm. I’m tired just thinking about it. Hubby let me know tonight that there’s very little chance he will help with anything or even come because his second job, his passion, needs done because he over booked himself last week this week and next week. I get to cover the slack again. AND he informed me Sunday that he hates ALL holidays and won’t do any of it unless we force him. And now he HAS to get this done so can’t go... hmmm... someone’s gonna be cold a lot the next week or two.
However, I’m sitting her munching on a protein bar when it hits me... If I ever got asked what food I would take to a deserted island for a month (just one) it would be these bars. As long as we had a way to keep them from melting. 6 a day is 96g protein and 1140 calories. Can’t really beat that!! Makes me wonder if I should have 6 bars one day next week just to see if it’s satisfying or not. But that cuts out two weeks that I’ll have to go without next fall lol. Man these things are good!
