Agree. Interesting. Yesterday I read about the Minnesota 'semi starvation' study from 1944. They ate 1560 calorie a day of plant foods mostly, and ended up with a poor state of mental health, depression. Prior I've read several testimonies about people who go from depression, to happy and strong, by selecting different foods. Facinating stuff.

My depression is better with chocolate lol. I think that’s because chocolate tastes so good and I only had it at happy times as a kid. So subconsciously it could just remind me of happier times. Haven’t noticed on other foods but if I don’t have meat at least every three days I feel weak, get the shakes and usually fatigued easily. It used to be only beef that would make me feel better but I’ve learned that now I can use pork or chicken as well and if I add cheese I feel better faster. Read an article last night that explained that the right amounts of calcium and protein together are good and help with the absorption of the other. Now did it say what the right amounts where? Nope lol.

Ah, those magical numbers! For some those numbers don't matter, but I know they for me and I know it's the same for you. I guess it's more about the types of food behind those numbers. A friend just sent me a book by Anthony William that addresses those "mystery illnesses". Gonna try some of the suggestions/protocol, see want works for me. Your working out and shared information are encouraging. Thank you for sharing. 😊
