I watched the eulogy given by President Obama.for John McCain this morning. He quoted from a passage from a Hemingway book that I think applies to many of us, not only in this FS arena but in our lives in general.

“Today is only one day in all the days that there will ever be. But what will happen in all the days that ever come can depend on what you will do today. Each moment, each day, each choice is a test. “

It’s worth posting here and on your refrigerator for your kids and you to read every time you pass by.

I hope you all know who John McCain is. I watched him and all the others come off of planes and buses upon coming home from the Hanoi Hilton toward the end of the war. The soldier whose POW bracelet I wore for 4 years did not make it home— he died about six months before the release of the others.
