My husband and I have to get our blood work done tomorrow. Started to fast a little over an hour ago. Already wanting to eat something. I think it is psychological though. Just because I'm not able to eat anything, I want it. Only water now.

I had my cholesterol checked earlier this year and it was high. I changed my diet and when I went back 7 weeks later, it had dropped. The doctor was even shocked. Now on the other hand, my husband has high fat in his blood. He is about 40lbs over weight. I have tried to get him to workout with me and eat healthier, but he doesn't have the motivation. I was like that before too, so I understand. He is taking fish oil now and after the blood work we will be able to see if it has helped. I think he thinks it is a magic pill that will let him eat whatever he wants. It's scares me. I don't want anything to happen to him. Anyways, I wanted to get that off of my chest. Sorry it's a long post. Hope everyone had a great day.

You have down very well. Keep up the good work. I need to get my husband on a diet also. He is a stubborn mule that is set in his ways. Taking omega fish oil is very good. For me it has made a difference with my asthma.
