Was headed to bed and decided to double check the days protein. Yep way off 👎. So I guess I’ll read more on here while I have some ham and a caramel protein shake. I’ll still be off some but 128g has to be better than 72g! Even if I did go over my calories by about 200 😳. I’m down for the week so far when I should be up so it’s all good. I hope lol. I did some work at home today. Squats using hubbys barbell. 20# plus whatever the bar weighs. I can honestly tell my dr next week that I kept to his 20# limit in my home workouts. Gym machines have 15 then 30... so I’ve ah... been doing a bit more than I should (up to 45 I think) for upper and I’m assuming the 130-150 leg press won’t hurt my chest area 🤪.

@peeper, a while back, I posted how I needed more protein. One suggestion was to add shrimp to my diet and I did. I also added protein powder, but I read you already do that. So, if you like shrimp, go for it. 😊

Becc@, I don’t care for shrimp :/. BUT I love beef and other meats. I’m using the shakes for workouts and snacks. Sometimes I just have a brain fart and don’t think about it until the end of the day. Chris,,, no typo! I had 4 slices of Frick’s honey ham AND a caramel protein shake. As you can imagine... they didn’t compliment each other! So I drank half the shake, ate the ham and finished up with the rest of the shake. Premier protein shakes are awesome! Peach 8/10, banana 9/10 (both have a slight metal after taste due to the added vitamins and minerals I think) and caramel 20/10. Oh yes caramel is like eating a hard caramel square without getting it stuck in your teeth!

Lol. I don’t think I’d be willing to try a ham AND caramel flavored shake! I’m picky!! For some reason at 2 A.M. I thought it would be a good combo of solid ham and liquid caramel. I was wrong and won’t make that mistake again! I’m still down like 2000 calories for the week. I don’t want another high calorie day after yesterday so I’ll focus on protein today and do my best to keep around 1700. My gym closes early today so I don’t think I’ll have time to sneak off and work out. I need to get in a routine of 3-4 days going though. T full body and cardio, F cardio and an aerobic class (well yoga, water workout, tia chi, dance etc). I do weights after. I need to fit in 1-2 more days of weights I think. Or just do it at home. Limited with 1,2,3,8&11# dumbbells and a barbell and exercise bar. So really I need to figure out a decent home routine to compliment my gym routine :).
