Those biscuits look great!

Lol thanks. I’d love to take the credit but they are frozen sausage biscuits. The kids and hubby have been complaining about no ‘junk food’ so they got some tonight. This is actually hubbys plate. He’s not big on dieting, preferring medifast once a year or so, but I’m rubbing off on him because he agreed to the deconstructed garbage omelets tonight (fancy food network way of saying scrambled eggs mixed with onions, peppers, ham and whatever else he could find to chop up and throw in lol).

Don't want to be critical, but wow, that's a lot of calories. Each sausage biscuit is 400+ calories, and there are 4 on the plate, plus the omelet. If you're hubby is trying to lose weight, that breakfast is not going to help. That's more calories than I eat in a day (1800).

@jen I know right?!?! Lol. Took me forever to understand what food network hosts meant by that. Now I use the term to ‘impress’ the kids into eating something they’d normally not lol.

@pylesw actually these are the small ones so 160 each (640 total but he also ate another so 800). Not including the veggies he had about 600-800 in the eggs. His maintenance calories are 2800+ :/. Some days he says he’s trying to lose and others he’s happy maintaining lol. He refuses to count calories and it’s too much for me cooking 2-3 meals at once, counting my calories and usually the kids want me to count some for them. I’m slowly introducing veggies mixed into things, making less carbs so that it’s not available, making more protein etc. The problem is that if I don’t fill him up at meals he WILL snack and not on veggies. At one point he was eating a family sized bag of chips in two days by himself! I can’t stop this as he works from home yet sees clients daily so has several opportunities per day to grab something at a gas station. He’s even started doing some of the shopping so why he can buy the junk. We have an agreement- he can’t bring any of my weaknesses into the house! Lol
