Finally got news about my car. Not as bad as I initially thought. Thank god. At work trying to finish projects and listen to a seminar on happiness with the author Shawn Achor that the company had yesterday. I am always interested in self improvement and would've been there if I had a car. I honestly would recommend "The Happiness Advantage" to anyone.
So today, I am focusing on sticking to my diet and finishing projects. Hopefully I will get my walk in during lunch and it will be a beautiful day.

My entire weekend has been my breaking out in painful hives because I changed soaps. I thought Method was all natural...oh well. And my still waiting to hear about the status of my car. Stress, poor eating, and weight gain are a never ending cycle that I am trying to break.

The car situation has gotten worse. I think water has gotten into the engine somewhere. It just shuts off now. I tried driving to work this morning and it shut off around the corner in the middle of a busy street. A stranger helped me push it into an apartment complex. Thank goodness for kind strangers. I said f** it and left the company laptop in the back seat and jogged(yes jogged) home in the dark. The neighborhood I was in seemed too sketch to stroll slowly by myself. I was amazed that I wasn't out of breath, even though I don't run that often(not at all if I can help it). Going to drop my car off at the shop later today. Keto is going okay. This is only the 2nd day of being back on the wagon.

I tried driving to work this morning, and it didn't go well. It was raining and flooded so badly that it was hard to see. My car began to sputter and I wasn't sure if I was going to make it back home. I am very thankful that I did. i should've just worked from home from the get go.
Lost a pound..I am actually quite surprised and happy about that. I am trying to get back on the keto wagon. I fell off during the weekend after feeling sick to my stomach all day Saturday and Sunday. The sweetie is sticking to the diet and so far has lost 10lbs. I haven't hit 10 yet but I am hopeful.
Sitting through the monthly ITS meeting. I seriously think the head of ITS has just said there is very little upward mobility in our organization. I'm not sure if that's how he meant it. We can't apply for jobs above our current classification even if we are qualified for them. I've only been here 2 months, but it's something to seriously think about.
