Another Tuesday in the books. Feel much better today with the quantity and content of meal prepared today. Yet another data point to inform future decisions. :D I completely sucked on the water intake front of the battle. I even had the damn 1.5 liter bottle of water right in front of me on the desk and I still didn't make the time to reach for it often enough. Only polished off 1/5 of it at best which is not nearly enough. So once more I'm working on guzzling down at least 1/2 gallon of water this evening. I so got to figure out how to do better with water, especially when in the office.

Going to do some stretching tonight and try to get my back ready for another 8 hours behind the wheel tomorrow (8 hours/480 miles and I won't even leave the state. time/distance has a whole different context in flyover country especially in the SW). Doing the final 'move daughter back from school for the summer thing'. Also need to plan out (yes even more planning.. its what I do :P) what I'm going to do for my meal tomorrow as I will be on the road at the time I usually have my one meal.

Before stretching going for a short walk then enjoy some cigar time. Shooting for crashing early so I can get up even earlier and get some work done before hitting the road. Do your very best to say no to the little cheats that like to sneak in at the end of the day. And if you can't, [bleep] happens and adjust for it tomorrow. Have a good and relaxing eve y'all!

Happy Tuesday all! A marginal bump up according to the troll scale this AM. Expected since I had a much higher than usual salt intake yesterday (and didn't get enough water in me). Back to a more normal workday meal today of tuna seasoned with sriracha and garlic mixed with mayo and mct oil. Also tossed in chopped baby spinach, cucumber, mozzarella. All together some where in the 850-950 call range.

Since starting here, I have not recorded the minor bumps up a long the way and will continue with that unless there is an upward trend over a few days. I've had just as many bumps up and down as any one here (its not been as smooth as my chart seems to say) but my logic in that is recording the bumps is just a distraction and takes away from the view of overall progress. I do weight every day and compare results against what was consumed in an effort to further understand intake and effect. Since I plan and prepare my meals at least 90% of the time this allow me to make minor tweaks not only to what and how much I make but how I prepare it as well. I put way to much thought into it all I'm sure but for me it keeps the mind engaged wholly in the process. I find in myself if I go fully on autopilot, more and more bad decisions begin to creep in.

It just struck me as I find myself closing in on crossing that 300 mark, I need to find a new doc to go to so I can get that 500k mile check up I have been avoiding. I'm actually looking forward to it simply for the extra data it will provide to help shape further efforts.

Running late today so I bid you all a found farewell for now. Keep making good choices, stay strong and resist temptations, keep doing the things that move you closer to where you want to be. And more importantly, regardless of the challenges you may contend with, find the beauty in the world around you and enjoy the day to the greatest extent possible.

And the Troll Scale says... 301... Inching closer to that 300 mark and can see the time ahead being below that. It was over 6 years ago when I crashed though that number on the downward track the first time. I've learned a lot through the ups and especially the downs through that time and feel I'm in a much better place mentally as it relates to my connection with food and in what it takes to fuel the bod better.

Expecting to plateau out for a few days now, especially since today is going to be high on the sodium intake due to the turkey sausage. Expecting for the bod to hold on to water like a sponge for a while until the excess is processed out.

Sending good vibes out to all for a good start to another week. Stay focused on your plans and efforts, keep making the decisions that drive you forward to where you want to be... not only in regards to health in life in general. Don't beat yourself up over minor setbacks or side steps. [bleep] happens. Just make your next decision a better one. Ciao y'all!
