Talked to OA sponsor ..said I could still call her...she is always the same...in a good way and a bad way...she is neutral around food...48 years without the first compulsive bite and 48 years sober..no psychotropics either..truly sober and clean

Worked out because I can...40 sit ups, all machines....sober, clean off all dope and abstinent from the so called alcoholic foods.

Woke up feeling grateful today that fate has spared me..have a friend whose daughter in in her early 20s...she has peritoneal mesothelioma...the treatment is catastrophic ...debulking surgery to remove as many tumors as the surgeon can find then they flood the abdomen with hot chemo for 1 to 2 hours. this young woman has no risk factors..no exposure to asbestos that could be identified..her professional goal had been to be a pediatric cardiac surgeon ..now her mother who lost both parents already to cancer is just hoping she can somehow stay alive..all I have to do is refrain from overeating and stop whining about my eating disorder..I know this poor child would give anything to have my problem...so toward that end woke up with renewed drive...please friends..no prayers...I am an atheist..if God could be invoked..and our meager human prayers could get that entity to change anything, why was it allowed to happen in the first place? ..beyond wrong and beyond unfair...God always gets the credit..never gets the blame..But then I never believed in anything supernatural....thank goodness for human power and science that can maybe prolong this poor child's life. its an interesting subject if anyone is interested...Moffitt in Tampa does this surgery as does Johns Hopkins in Maryland..the prognosis is still terrible..we can control our overeating...neocortex and will...gonna go workout and am grateful to not be in ICU today with her level of pain and beyond challenging recovery facing her.

Worked out partially...walked some...strange night at gym. Had fat free old vegan breakfast of kale and sweet potato..its lost its sparkle..did it for years ..cannot whomp it up again apparently..the kale was good...ok working on improving bad attitude...I am not fat...just a whiner...

Worked out, taking Scanner to vet...worried. So why I can stay abstinent: I want to be thin, I know what works, what worked before will work again, I can have anything I want within reason just not flour or sugar products. I have a program, I know and understand the BB, I agree with the phenomenon of craving...I support that philosophy. and I have tons of help from human power.
