I have an appt Tue to get labs done. I plan on requesting testing fasting insulin, hemoglobin A1C, thyroid, and cortisol. I already know that my cortisol levels are screwed up even before I go, just want to see how bad. My goal for now is to unwind and stay that way as much as possible by limiting my "fight or flight" responses as much as possible, including lots more meditation, yoga, limiting by beloved sad and scary movies/series (at least until The Walking Dead presumes in OCT...lol), and including more comical watches. Any other ideas?

I guess I must have eaten nearly 25,000 calories in 12 hours yesterday, at least I burned off about 500 with extra walking. ...or maybe it's water weight from just carbs (at .4g of water per 1g of carbs. Really not in the miid to calculate). It is what it is.

My family is currently in serious emotional distress. My niece, Kirsten Joye, was stillborn today. Please keep my family & the mother's family in prayers. If you don't believe in prayer, chunk some monkies or whatever you do.
Just so there isn't any bickering about this post not being diet related, I will add that I've been getting drunk on chocolate for the last 12 hours. I know, I know...
