Lately I've been struggling to eat enough calories (hence the frozen Oreos and all the bacon). Yesterday I decided to go out to lunch (Noodles & Co. Is the best) to make sure I'd be in the right ballpark. Really not a problem I expected to be having. Tomorrow is supposed to be a low calorie day, so I want to make sure to eat sufficiently today. I guess I should add some fat. That's the best way to get calories, but my appetite is nonexistent.
Anyone else have this problem?

I logged more than 24,000 steps on my Fitbit today! Whew, now I'm ready to sit down, lol.

I'm feeling a little down today. I was planning to take my dog for a walk but I am worn out. The poor little guy gets so excited too. Maybe we'll just go for a short one. It wouldn't be so bad if it wasn't so hot!
My husband has been working out of town all summer, I really miss seeing him every day. I'm trying to use the time apart as motivation to stay on track. It's not the worst strategy I've ever had, but definitely not my favorite. I hate to say it, but my diet in general is better without him around. But I also see how I tried to pass the blame for our subpar food choices onto him, when really I wanted it just as much as he did. Now I have nowhere to hide. That's why I think fasting has been successful for me this far. It helps me learn to be okay with being hungry. I definitely know I've eaten out of boredom before. And when I was dealing with depression sometimes it was the only thing that gave me pleasure. Followed, of course, by guilt and self-deprecation. I just want to have a healthy respect for food. I don't want to be a slave to it, I don't want it to be my idol, I don't want to be afraid of it or ashamed of it. I just want to be friends with it, ha.
